Professional Liability insurance protects you if a client claims your services caused harm, did not meet expectations, or resulted in emotional, physical, or financial injury.

This coverage applies to claims involving negligence, mistakes, omissions, or failure to deliver services as intended — including remote sessions and professional advice.

Your policy is written on an occurrence basis, which means it will respond to covered incidents that happen during your policy period, even if the claim is reported later, affording you coverage when you need it most, while you are actively working.

Your coverage limits apply to you individually — they are not shared with other members — so your protection remains fully available for your own practice.

Example: A client claims your energy healing session caused them emotional distress and anxiety, requiring ongoing therapy. They sue for $50,000 in damages claiming professional negligence. Your Professional Liability coverage would provide defense and pay covered damages up to your $2,000,000 per incident limit.

Even with the highest standards of care, misunderstandings or unexpected outcomes can occur. This coverage helps safeguard your practice, professional reputation, and financial stability so you can continue serving your clients with confidence.

General Liability insurance protects you if someone is injured or property is damaged in connection with your business operations or practice location.

This includes situations such as a client slipping or falling in your workspace, accidental damage to a client’s belongings, or injuries that occur during an in-person session or event. This coverage applies on an occurrence basis, meaning incidents that happen during your policy period are  covered even if the claim is filed later.

Your liability limits are dedicated to you and are not shared across the membership, ensuring your coverage is available when you need it.

Example: A client slips and falls in your treatment room, sustaining a broken wrist requiring surgery and physical therapy. The client's medical bills total $15,000 and they claim lost wages of $5,000. Your General Liability coverage would respond to defend the claim and pay covered damages up to your $2,000,000 per occurrence limit.

Because accidents can happen in any setting, this protects you against claims of Bodily Injury or Property Damage.  In addition the cost of investigating and defending lawsuits is above the liability limit.

This coverage only applies to products you use as part of your professional services.  It does not extend to products you manufacture, mass-produce, repackage or sell.

Coverage Limit
Included within your $4,000,000 General Liability aggregate

This coverage is designed to protect you if a claim arises from how you promote your services or communicate with others in the course of your practice.

It may apply to claims involving:

• Libel or slander (written or spoken statements that harm someone’s reputation)

• Invasion of privacy

• Use of copyright, trade dress or slogan without permission

• Misuse of another person’s advertising ideas or content

This protection applies to activities such as your:

• Website content

• Social media posts

• Marketing materials

• Promotional messaging

Coverage
Included as part of your General Liability policy. This coverage does not apply to intentional wrongdoing or known violations.

In today’s digital world, even unintentional mistakes in marketing or online content can lead to claims. This coverage helps protect you so you can promote your services with confidence.

This coverage pays for damage to a space you rent or temporarily use for your practice if the damage is caused by a covered incident, such as fire, smoke, water, or accidental events.

It applies to locations such as:

• Treatment rooms

• Office or studio space

• Classrooms or workshop venues

• Short-term rental spaces used for sessions or events

Coverage Limit
Up to $300,000 any one premises

Unlike many policies that limit coverage to spaces rented for 7 days or less, this coverage applies to rented premises without restrictive time limits, providing broader protection for ongoing or long-term use.

If you rent space, accidental damage could result in significant repair costs. This coverage helps protect you from out-of-pocket expenses and supports professional relationships with landlords and venue owners.

This coverage is intended for minor medical expenses if a client or visitor is accidentally injured on your premises or during your covered services - regardless of fault.

Immediate care such as:

• First aid

• Ambulance services

• Emergency room visits

• Minor medical treatment

Unlike General or Professional Liability this is a no-fault provision that is provided as a means to resolve minor incidents quickly and professionally.

Coverage Limit
Up to $5,000 per person

This coverage helps address small accidents promptly, reducing the likelihood of larger claims while reinforcing your commitment to safety and professional care.

This coverage provides protection for damages you become legally obligated to pay for bodily injury, property damage or personal and advertising injury from threatened or alleged assault or battery. 

Coverage Limit
Up to $25,000 per occurrence

This protection helps address rare but serious situations involving a third-party claim against you.

This endorsement reimburses certain out-of-pocket expenses to reestablish your identity if you experience identity theft related to your covered activities.

Coverage includes reasonable costs associated with restoring identity, such as:

• Notarizing affidavits
• Certified mailing of documents
• Loan or credit reapplication fees

Coverage Limit
Up to $25,000 per policy period for all insureds combined.

Deductible
No deductible applies.

Important Clarification

Identity theft can be stressful and time-consuming to resolve. This endorsement helps support your recovery efforts and expenses after identity theft.  This coverage does not replace money or funds lost in an identity theft claim.

Business Personal Property (BPP) protects the movable items you use in your practice if they are damaged or lost due to a covered event.

This includes items such as:

• Massage tables and chairs

• Healing tools and devices

• Office equipment and computers

• Linens, supplies, and practice materials

Coverage applies to property used in your practice at locations such as:

• A home office

• Rented treatment rooms

• Studios, wellness centers, or gyms

• Workshop or class locations

Included Coverage

• $10,000 Unscheduled Business Personal Property – Items do not need to be listed.

Higher limits are available if your equipment value exceeds the included amount.

Example: A fire in your rented treatment space damages your massage table ($2,000), sound healing equipment ($3,000), and supplies ($1,000). Your Business Personal Property coverage would pay to replace these items minus your $500 deductible, up to your selected coverage limit.

Your tools are essential to your work. This coverage is to repair or replace important equipment so you can continue serving clients after a covered loss.

Business Income & Extra Expense coverage is crucial to protect your ongoing business operations in the event your practice is temporarily unable to operate due to a covered loss that affects your equipment or workspace.

This coverage applies to:

• Lost income while you cannot provide services

• Expenses such as rent or utilities

• Extra costs to resume operations or relocate temporarily

Included Coverage

• $10,000 Business Income & Extra Expense

Higher limits are available if your practice depends on greater income protection.

If an unexpected event disrupts your ability to see clients, this coverage helps stabilize your finances so you can focus on reopening and continuing your work.

Business Personal Property Deductible

• $500 per claim

A deductible is the amount you pay out of pocket before insurance coverage applies to a covered loss.

This deductible applies to property-related claims, such as damage or loss of equipment.

Knowing your deductible helps you plan for unexpected expenses and understand when coverage begins.

Higher property and income coverage limits are available if your practice requires additional protection.

Business Personal Property, any single item with a value of $10,000 or more must be scheduled/specifically listed for coverage to apply.

 Available Coverage

• $25,000 BPP/BI/EE limit available for $396.41  (includes credit card fees and tax)
• $50,000 BPP/BI/EE limit available for $792.91  (includes credit card fees and tax)

If you rely on specialized equipment or have higher income exposure, increased limits can provide greater financial security.

This coverage provides financial support if a client, student, participant or volunteer suffers a severe injury or death as the direct result of an accident during a covered service or activity.

Benefits apply to:

• Accidental death

• Loss of a limb, hand, foot, sight, speech, or hearing

• Paralysis (such as paraplegia or quadriplegia)

If a covered accident results in one of these serious losses, the policy pays a set benefit to the injured person or their beneficiary. 

2026 Coverage Limits

• Accidental Death: $25,000

• Accidental Dismemberment: Up to $50,000 depending on the loss

• Accidental Paralysis: Up to $50,000

If multiple losses occur from the same accident, the policy pays the highest applicable benefit. 

Benefits apply when the loss occurs within 365 days of the covered accident.  

This protection helps ensure that if a rare but serious accident occurs, your client and/or their family have financial support, reinforcing trust, professionalism, and responsible care.

This coverage is intended to pay for medical care if a client, student, participant, or volunteer is injured in an accident while receiving your services or taking part in a covered activity.

It covers reasonable and necessary medical expenses that include but are not limited to:

• Emergency room care
• Doctor visits
• Hospital services
• X-rays and diagnostic tests
• Ambulance services
• Follow-up treatment
• Accidental dental treatment (when related to the injury)

2026 Coverage Limit

Benefit Period
Eligible medical expenses are covered for up to 52 weeks from the date of the accident.

This coverage helps to ensure your clients can receive prompt medical care if an accident occurs - supporting trust, safety, and peace of mind for everyone involved.

This coverage is considered part of the Accidental Medical and pays for dental treatment if a client, student, participant, or volunteer  sustains a dental injury  during your services or activities.

Examples may include:

• Broken or chipped teeth

• Emergency dental treatment

• Repair or replacement of damaged teeth

Accidental dental care is included as part of the Accident Medical Expense benefit, subject to the same limits and deductible.

Benefit Period
Eligible dental expenses are covered for up to 52 weeks from the date of the accident.

Dental injuries can be unexpected and costly and by including dental care within the medical benefit coverage there is no per tooth no sub-limit. This ensures that your clients can receive timely treatment while reinforcing your commitment to responsible care.

For the accident coverage to apply, there is a $500 out of pocket portion that must first be paid per covered injury by either the practitioner or injured party.

After that amount is met, the policy  reimburses covered expenses up to the plan limits.

Understanding the deductible helps you set clear expectations with clients and reinforces transparency and professionalism if an accident occurs.

The benefit period is the length of time after a covered accident during which eligible medical expenses may be reimbursed.

For this policy, the benefit period is:

Up to 52 weeks (1 year) from the date of the accident

This means covered medical expenses related to the injury can be eligible for reimbursement for up to one year, as long as treatment occurs within that timeframe.

Because some injuries require follow-up care over time, this extended benefit period helps ensure your clients can receive ongoing treatment while maintaining confidence in your professional standards.

This plan includes membership education, Cyber Safety Audit (coming soon)  and cyber liability insurance coverage. Available for Professional and Premium Levels.

This optional coverage provides protection if sensitive client information is stolen, or exposed due to a cyber incident. 

Situations such as:

• A data breach involving client records
• Hacked email or scheduling systems
• Unauthorized access to personal information

Protecting the confidentiality of your clients personally identifiable information is regulated by statutes and regulations.  In the event of a breach there are remedies you are legally required to make along with other expenses and this coverage assists with those associated costs.

Such as:

• Legal fees
• Costs and Expenses for providing required notifications
• Computer Forensic costs of outside experts
• Retaining Credit Protection Services for your clients
• Expenses to mitigate harm to your brand or reputation
• Customer Notification Expenses
• Public Relations Expenses

Coverage

• $100,000 per privacy claim
• $250,000 aggregate
• Cost $149 per year

Deductible: $1000

Example: Your client scheduling system is hacked, exposing personal information of 100 clients including names, addresses, and health information. You incur $8,000 in notification costs, $5,000 in forensic investigation, and face a $25,000 privacy lawsuit. Your Cyber Security coverage would respond up to the $100,000 per claim limit.

If you store client information electronically, this coverage helps manage the financial and legal impact of a data breach.

Sexual Misconduct & Abuse Protection Plan includes e-book Effective Sextual Misconduct Risk Management,   Practice Checklist (coming soon), and abuse and molestation liability insurance coverage. Available for Professional and Premium Levels.

This optional coverage provides protection if a claim of sexual misconduct or abuse is alleged in connection with your professional services.

Deductible: none

Recommended for hands-on or touch-based therapies.
This coverage helps protect you if an allegation, whether actual or unfounded,  arises from physical contact during a session.

Even unfounded allegations can require legal defense and may impact your reputation. This coverage helps protect your practice and provides support if the unexpected occurs.

This additional coverage is available for Professional and Premium Levels.

This optional coverage increases protection for equipment and business property used in your practice, such as:

• Massage tables

• Healing tools or devices

• Office equipment

• Supplies and materials

Coverage Options

• Increase limit to $25,000 for an additional $396.41 (includes credit card fees and tax)
• Increase limit to $50,000 for an additional $792.91 (includes credit card fees and tax)

Any one item valued over $10,000 must be specifically listed on the application. 

If your equipment is essential to your work, higher limits can help you recover quickly after a covered loss.

This option allows you to add a landlord, facility, event venue, or organization to your policy as an additional insured.

By adding them, you are extending certain liability protections to that party for claims arising from your professional services at their location  as specified in a written contract. 

Cost
Unlimited additional insured included at no extra fees for the Professional and Premium Levels.

You may be asked to add an additional insured when:

• Renting treatment or office space

• Teaching classes or workshops at a venue

• Providing services at hospitals, wellness centers, or gyms

• Hosting events or participating in community programs

Coverage applies only to liability arising from your services - not the venue’s independent operations.

Many venues require proof of additional insured status before allowing you to provide services. This option helps you meet those requirements quickly and maintain professional relationships.
